amalfi coast wedding

Why don’t you just elope to Amalfi coast or Sorrento coast?

Why don’t you just elope to Amalfi coast or Sorrento coast?

This is a great and romantic idea for many reasons

1) Cost savings

On the Amalfi coast you can plan any type of elopement and you can match any type of budget. In Positano, Ravello, Sorrento and Amalfi you can find all different options of wedding venues  from luxury to cheapest but with amazing panoramic sea view as well…which is a plus. To save money we suggest to choose less touristy villages such as Praiano, Conca dei Marini, Maiori, Minori or Massa Lubrense. Weddings are really expensive and can become really expensive during the planning process. Many couples get parents to help out financially or go into huge personal debt so they can get the wedding of their dreams become a reality. Going into debt at the start of your marriage is not the best way to start this new chapter in your lives together. Elopements are significantly cheaper and allow people to focus on their honeymoon.

2) WeddingMoon: to combine the elopement with the honeymooon

One of the reasons why you should elope is to combine your elopement with your honeymoon. Being able to get married in an incredible location is a huge drawcard for elopements. So Elope at you dream destination and then continue to explore the region on your own. Or move onwards to another destination not too far away. The scenery on the Amalfi and Sorrento coast is simply magnificent. It is the ideal destination for an elopement as well as for an honeymoon. The romance, the stunning architecture, the great food and wine, and more and more, make the Amalfi and Sorrento coast the most perfect choice you could ever do. It has a blissfully romantic feel. The weather is very enjoyable in the area. For your honeymoon, you’ll want to find a destination that offers a huge selection of memorable things to see and do. From romantic private boat rides along the Amalfi and Sorrento coast and in Capri, to exploring the historical roman villas in Ravello such as Villa Rufolo or Villa Cimbrone, to an adventurous walk on the Vesuvius, this splendid coast on the Mediterranean sea has no shortage of opportunities for romance, making memories, and glorious photographs.

3) Epic photos

Let’s be honest, this is the real reason you’re doing this, right? When else do you get to have this much attention focused on your beautiful selves? And with a stunning and breathtaking backdrop, on a boat, on a cliff side, wearing your best outfits, on an emotional high? Close your eyes and imagine to get married on a cliff with Positano on your back, or in the middle of the sea with Capri or Amalfi as your backdrop, or on a secluded beach to have mother nature as your only witness, or in the luxury Villa Cimbrone. It will be a dream and your epic wedding pictures will come out amazingly perfect. By eloping to the Amalfi coast, you can tell people that it’s just the two of you. It makes it much easier on you.

4) Get ready together

You can truly spend the entire day together, getting “all done up” together It could be a really fun and sentimental part of your day. You’re not just getting ready, you’re getting ready to commit to forever. Spend the morning drinking coffee together, having breakfast together, talking on a sea view terrace while the hair stylist is fixing the bride’s hair. A lot of emotional and special moments to share with your bride to be. On the Amalfi and Sorrento coast there are amazing hotels with unique and stunning suites where you could get ready together.

5) You Can Focus More On Your Marriage rather than Your Wedding and your Families

Many bridal couples are so overwhelmed by the wedding planning process that it takes a toll on their relationship. When you choose something simple, you can really focus on the things that matter – your own hearts and minds. Choosing to elope means that you are focusing on the marriage that is taking place rather than the party and this so much less stress. With a large event, however, there is the potential that your focus will be taken away from your partner and put on other details. Some brides and grooms don’t even get a chance to sit down and eat the meal they have so painstakingly chosen! Traditional weddings bring two families together so that you can thank them for their support and allow them to share in your happiness, but family sometimes is complicated and by eloping you can avoid complicated family matters and politics or religious matters. There are always dramas or conflicts. Imagine two families together with different cultural ideas or religious beliefs…things can become complicated!!! You may spend your time trying to please both sides and soon you find out that the wedding day is ended and you understands that maybe you could have avoided the compromises to make everyone happy choosing to elope. Planning a traditional wedding involves a lot of people and their opinions. It can easily become overwhelming and stressful. Eloping eliminates that stress and allows you to start your lives with an epic adventure. With a traditional wedding, you are often limited to where you can get married. There are logistics involved in getting a hundred or so people to watch you get married. It’s not always possible to get a hundred people to the top of a mountain or on a secluded beach. But for elopements, you can pretty much get married anywhere! You are only limited to your imagination and the type of Ceremony you would like to plan. Catholic Ceremonies on the Amalfi coast can only be planned in a Catholic church. Symbolic and Protestant Ceremonies on the Amalfi or Sorrento coast can be planned anywhere. Civil Ceremonies on the Amalfi coast can only take place at the Registry Office of the Town Hall or in other venues owned by the city Council. On the Amalfi and Sorrento coast there are amazing wedding venues where to plan a civil ceremony outdoor and with a stunning sea view.

6) Because elopements are intimate and more personal.

An elopement grants you the freedom to decide how to commit your lives to each other. It creates a magical, intimate way for you to make your wildest, most romantic dreams about your wedding day come true. Elopements are so much more personal and intimate between you as a couple. You spend more quality time and focus together. They are all about you. So you can express who you are as a couple. You say your intimate and personal vows to each other without the stress, fear or even embarrassment of showing your feelings and emotions in front of other people. You can also be as goofy, crazy, sexy, romantic and fun as you want to be. If you have a creative talent I do highly suggest to incorporate it into your elopement day since it can be something special. You have to be just yourselves with no masks! During an elopement on the Amalfi and Sorrento coast  you can also have a wedding cake. In the area there  extremely talented and famous bakers who can cook and design delicious master pieces. Just because there’s only two people to eat cake doesn’t mean you can’t have one and this one can have a great design and won’t break your budget.
