Danielle’s words ” I had a large bridal party and didn’t want everyone to look exactly the same, so I had my bridesmaids wear different styles of the Vera Wang collection, but stuck to the blush color pallet and to differentiate them from the other girls, I had my Maid of Honors wear blush sequin dresses. All of the different styles and textures looked amazing together.

We wanted it to be a formal affair with a simple, chic twist. Nik opted for a tux with an off-white dinner jacket, a velvet bow-tie and velvet loafers with no socks. He had his guys in classic black tuxedos and everyone looked absolutely stunning.

I knew I was going to wear a Pronovias dress before I was even engaged. I actually picked one out and then found out that 3 other girls I knew were wearing the same one! So I ended up changing to a different Pronovias style, their Natura gown, and I am so happy I did! The lace detail on the dress, paired with the long veil which was actually custom made from a cape to a veil, looked so regal in the beautiful church”.

Catholic legal binding Wedding Ceremony in Ravello

Danielle and Nick had a Catholic Wedding Ceremony in Ravello and got married at 4:30 p.m. in the Ravello’s Cathedral the Duomo of Ravello, an elegant, white roman church sitting atop a wide staircase dominating Ravello’s main square, Piazza Duomo.

The bride decided to book as musicians an organist, a violin and a soprano. I strongly believe a soprano will make a lovely addition to any weddings on the amalfi coast, singing in the church lifts the whole experience for you and your guests and makes a more special atmosphere. Cocktail hour on the Infinity terrace at Villa Cimbrone wedding venue in Ravello

A tradition guitar and mandolin duo accompanied the guests after the ceremony to the wedding reception venue and in particular to the sublime and epic Infinity Terrace where the Cocktail hour took place and where the guests enjoyed the aperitives and an unimaginable sea view. The musicians chosen during the cocktail hour were a classical and elegant string trio in order to add a special touch of fairytale to the wedding. The Infinity terrace natural balcony with its breathtaking sea view is decorated with eighteenth century marble busts. Villa Cimbrone gives the possibility to book the infinity terrace for cocktail hours by adding a fee.

Wedding Reception in Villa Cimbrone’s magical Crypt

After the Cocktail hour the guests and later the bridal couple joined the Cimbrone’s Crypt for the wedding reception. It is an evocative and magical Gothic style open air place, with high arching stone ceilings. As soon as the couple joined the wedding banquet the speeches took place.

At around 10:30 p.m. the cutting of the wedding cake took place in this mystic and romantic setting. The cake was a 4 layers sponge cake filled with milk chocolate cream.
